Role Overview
Labamu is expanding its digital presence and is seeking a highly creative social media content creator to create engaging, on-brand content, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting with trends, understands how to connect content to a brand's personality, and can translate product features into relevant and engaging stories for SMEs.
This is a hands-on content creation role—from ideation, scriptwriting, and video recording to editing and publishing.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation
Producing short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram (Reels, Stories, feed content).
Brainstorm and deliver creative content ideas that align with Labamu's brand narrative and SME audience.
Record, film, and edit videos using mobile devices or studios.
Stay on top of social media trends and creatively adapt them to your Labamu brand voice. Stay up to date with the latest technology and recommend improvements to automation processes.
Brand Storytelling
Translating Labamu's mission, features, and community stories into engaging and captivating content.
Work closely with branding and product teams to ensure messaging accuracy and brand consistency.
Execution & Publishing
Manage the entire production process: concept → script → shooting → editing → publishing.
Optimize content for platform best practices (hashtags, music, format, timing).
Ensuring a consistent posting schedule on TikTok and Instagram.
Engagement & Insights
Monitor content performance and audience engagement.
Use insights to refine content strategy and propose new ideas.
Support community engagement by responding to comments and interacting with followers when needed.

Share Vacancies
Qualification
1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, preferably on TikTok and IG Reels.
Strong skills in video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or others).
Understanding of TikTok/Instagram trends, storytelling formats, and algorithm-friendly content.
Ability to record and produce content independently (comfortable in front of and behind the camera).
Basic understanding of branding and visual aesthetics.
Bonus: Experience creating content for technology, SME, or lifestyle brands. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence a testing culture.
