Frequently Asked Questions
What is manufacturing software?
Manufacturing software is a system that helps production businesses manage bidding, material planning, production execution, and billing in one place. All stages run on the same data so information does not need to be entered repeatedly.
What is the difference between manufacturing software and cashier applications?
The cashier application records sales transactions at the payment point. Manufacturing software handles the before and after process, starting from customer requests, calculating material requirements, production implementation, to billing.
Can it be used for production that is partially carried out by vendors?
Bisa. Satu Work Order dapat memiliki beberapa tahap kerja, dan setiap tahap dapat dikerjakan oleh tim internal maupun vendor yang berbeda sesuai kebutuhan produksi.
How does the system calculate material requirements?
Material requirements are calculated automatically from the Bill of Materials and production quantities in the Work Order. The system displays a stock availability indicator so that the materials that are available and those that still need to be prepared are immediately visible.
Can offers and invoices be issued in foreign currency?
Can. Quotes and invoices may be issued in foreign currencies, with the value remaining converted and recorded in the company’s reference currency. The exchange rate and its effective date are stored and can be traced back.
How do customers accept the proposed offer?
Offers are shared via a dedicated portal. Customers can open the offer details and provide approval directly, so that the approval process is neatly recorded in the system.
Can it be used for several production locations at once?
Currently the system is running for one production location. Storage location recording is available in the inventory module, while more structured warehouse management is in the planning stage.
How does the invoice payment process work?
Customers receive an invoice through the portal, then can make payments online or upload proof of payment. The relevant team then checks and monitors the status in one place.
