This workshop participants are expected to continue the success by providing more in-depth training and opening more export opportunities for SMEs in Indonesia.

Started with Product Curation Program

Idea Labamu makes a Workshop to Encourage the Export of IKM Products to Penetrate the Global Market, starting from a simple program called IKM Product Curation.

In collaboration with the Department of Industry and Trade of South Tangerang City, the main objective of this program is to increase the competitiveness of local products in the international market.

By helping to curate products for SMEs, they are expected to be better able to improve product quality, especially in terms of quality and market appeal, so that they are ready to compete globally.

During this program, in addition to representatives from Labamu, the Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang City, H. Pilar Saga Ichsan, S.T. M.Ars, Head of the Industry and Trade Office of South Tangerang City, H. Abdul Aziz AM, ST, MT, and HRD of Aneka Buana Supermarket, Sumarno, were also present.

Training Provided during the Workshop

In the Workshop to Encourage IKM Products to Penetrate the Global Market (Batch 2), the participating IKM players received in-depth training to successfully do business and export products to the global market.

Held at the office LabamuTangerang, the training, which took place on Friday, November 22, 2024, discussed various aspects of making export sales, including how to prepare products for foreign markets and marketing strategies.

10 Participants also had the opportunity to learn directly from IKM players who have successfully penetrated the international market, namely Kartini. This Batch 1 workshop alumni successfully sold her products to Singapore.

He shared his experience about the beginning of exporting which only sent about 20 sample products to Singapore. but now managed to get repeat orders.

“Now we have managed to get a repeat order to Singapore, which can replace the previous product sample ,” he said.

Labamu helps Kartini penetrate the global market

In addition to sharing stories about her business that successfully penetrated the Singapore market, Kartini also expressed her gratitude for having participated in this workshop.

According to him, thanks to the Workshop to Encourage SME Products to Penetrate the Global Market, he received the right support to penetrate the international market.

“Before attending the workshop, my products were only known domestically. After the workshop, thank God our products can be recognized as far as Singapore,” she said.

Kartini’s inspiring story shows that effort coupled with the right strategy can bring big changes.
